What size assemblies can you conduct?
We recommend to our clients that you keep your attendance numbers to around 200 per assembly and not more than 300 students per assembly. We want your students and faculty to be comfortable, have plenty of room to participate, and have the best possible outcome. We would rather give you a super discount on an extra assembly than to have an over crowed multipurpose room or auditorium.
Are your assemblies different based on grade?
Yes. We have versions of our assemblies based on grade level. We can craft a blended grade presentation as well.
You actually issue instruments to everyone in the audience?
Yes, Each student and faculty member is issued multiple instruments for use during our assembly programs. Workshops use one instrument per person.
What locations work best for this type of assembly?
We prefer using a multi-purpose room, gym or similar indoor structure so that seating can be set up on the floor without distractions. Please give us a call to discuss your situation if you need to plan your assembly outdoors.
Our school does not have a huge budget, how much will this cost?
When quoting an event, we factor the distance of travel from Burbank, California, how many participants we will be working with and the length of time of performance. We have performance options that work with most budgets.
Will our kids have a fun, educational and safe experience?
Absolutely!!! Not to bang our own drum, but the popularity of One World Rhythm events has skyrocketed since our inception which is no wonder why so many public and private agencies have booked with One World Rhythm.
Is there any special requirements for the performance?
We will need to have access to an electrical outlet for our sound system.
We are ready to book, how do we proceed?
Great! Give us a call at (866) 794-1875 so we can confirm availability for your date and time requested (or use the request quote link found on many of our pages). Using the request quote form will greatly speed up the quote and/or booking process. Once your assembly quote has been given and the price agreed to, we will send an invoice/confirmation by email to you. The invoice is due and payable on or before your performance date.
Do you have assemblies available specific to preschool/kindergarten age audiences?
We certainly do you. You will find that your kids really enjoy the variety of music activities and body movement that is part of the presentation.
Are middle school and/or high school assemblies available?
Yes and are a perfect way to unite everyone together with a unique and energized school spirit type vibe. Of course specific themed assemblies are also available to touch on focus weeks such as diversity, anti-drug, pro-school etc.
Is One World Rhythm available for family nights?
Yes - Some schools choose to book a day assembly with us and then have us stick around for a family event that evening. Special rates are available for multiple bookings and this is a great way to organize an evening fundraiser as well.
Do your assemblies meet California Standards?
Yes. Our programs touch multiple disciplines that can be applied to numerous California Standards. As California standards are established for individual grade levels and are based on a full school year of education we will not be addressing every standard in every grade level in every discipline within a 45 minute presentation. With that said, many standards are touched on during our time with your students. You may see a sample of how one of our programs applies to general music standards over multiple grades k-6 by clicking here.
